Job Opening Part-time, 10 hours/week

The Well Collaborative is seeking a part-time project manager to help bring The Entrepreneurial Center at The Well to life! Do you have management skills, the ability to balance many tasks, phone skills, computer skills including proficiency in Google Workspace, love to work cooperatively with people and, above all, have a passion for the success of Downtown Claremont? This is a three-year grant funded job.

Challenge Grant from Maki Financial Community Fund

We are excited to announce that Martha Maki and her business have teamed with The Well Collaborative NH by providing a challenge grant to help us raise the $220,000 matching funds we have to raise in order to get the federally funding. The Well Collaborative NH explores wellness as a continuous, evolving cycle. Each aspect of our well-being is interconnected. When our basic physiological needs such as nourishment, rest, and stability are met, we can focus on deeper aspects of wellness and self-actualization. Life is dynamic, and challenges may prompt us to readdress foundational needs before progressing again.

All of our efforts are aimed at creating a sustainable space in an historic downtown building as a catalyst for economic activity in and around Claremont, NH.

It is our dream to see this 1835 Gothic Revival building used fully as a community hub of activities that strengthen economic resilience in our city, including a community kitchen and a childcare center.

We currently share space within the building owned by the First Congregational Church of Claremont at 72 Pleasant Street in historic downtown Claremont. You may find us on the corner of Pleasant Street and Glidden Street, across from the Claremont, NH Citizens Bank. There is street parking on Pleasant Street as well as a public lot across Pleasant Street behind the businesses. There is also after-hours parking in adjacent bank parking lots as well as street parking on Broad Street.

Events are hosted at 72 Pleasant St in Claremont which is a building shared by the First Congregational Church of Claremont and The Well Collaborative NH. We are centrally located in historic downtown Claremont, NH. The best ways to access the building for public events are through the Pleasant Street side at the large double door entrance or just to the left of the main entrance, through the side garden off of Pleasant Street and up the ramp to the side entrance.

Free parking is available:
- along Pleasant Street
- along Broad Street Park
- at the Broad Street Public Parking Lots (enter across from Broad Street Park, between the American Legion and Mascoma Bank)
- at the Pleasant Street Public Parking Lot (enter between 43 & 51 Pleasant St or from Franklin St)
- behind Citizens Bank (during non-business hours)
- behind Claremont Savings Bank (during non-business hours)

Handicapped Accessibility:

A couple of handicapped parking spaces are available in front of the One Way Bakery on Glidden St, located directly behind 72 Pleasant St.
A wheelchair accessible entrance is available by entry through the Pleasant Street side garden, to the ramp and into the side door. An elevator is available for access to each function room.
