September 6, 7 PM: Join us for an evening of singer/songwriters in-the-round! Vermont locals Libby Kirkpatrick, Dave Richardson, and Andy Wyatt are accomplished performers in their own right. They are excited to come together for a special evening of songs, stories, singing and playing with each other. Libby Kirkpatrick‘s music is a divine confluence of intimate story telling, haunting poetry, her astonishing vocal range, and skilled and polished musicianship. She’s an avant garde force right from set kickoff — a soaring, looping comet. Her streaming lyrics flame and smoke and twist and tail and even shrug if they feel like it. https://about.me/libbymusic Dave Richardson is an observer. With his warm, expressive voice and his acoustic guitar, he invites listeners to experience snippets of life through his songs: a fragment of overheard conversation, the recollection of a feeling, a snapshot of an event. Dave grew up listening to ‘60s pop and classic rock, and his love of a catchy melody can be easily heard in his music. Dave’s songs reflect a unique point of view steeped in folk traditions and infused with an undeniably modern lyrical and musical sensibility. http://www.daverichardsonfolk.com Andy Wyatt is an optimistic Pollyanna but also a cold-war kid, growing up in the 70s and early 80s in fear of nuclear war and therefore adopting a carefree YOLO attitude. With rich chords and fingerpicking, lyrics that most anyone can relate to, melodies that get stuck in your head, and big sing-along choruses, Andy’s songs leave audiences inspired and uplifted. https://www.mangobananas.com
